Gulaman is a long staple food here in the Philippines. You would usually see this sold in street corners. It's a delicious drink especially when you're really thirsty (or if you just came from a game of basketball). And it didn't take long for one to think of a way to bottle this drink and sell them in supermarkets.
This is where I discovered Joy Black Gulaman.
There is a store near our office where you could buy the Joy Black Gulaman. At first, I was curious on how it tastes like. But when I got to sip it, I realized that it really tastes great!
During snacks, this is what I usually drink (this or apple juice). You can really taste the full flavor of gulaman. Yet, it's very sweet and may not be good for people with diabetes. I even thought at first that drugs were put in the drink due to the very sweet flavor.
But it can do. Passed. It's tastes good. There's no "powdery" taste or "preservatives". It captured the true taste of Pinoy gulaman. Even the container itself is for mineral water (I feel that old mineral water bottles are used to put the Joy Black Gulaman… mmm… yummy!).
If you're a person who loves Pinoy drinks, don't hesitate to buy Joy Black Gulaman. It's really delicious… it's just a bit sweet.

There’s a new product which I saw in SM, it’s called SnG Sago’t Gulaman. It’s really good. There are even 4 flavors of it: Original, Apple, Melon and Black.
My family liked it, try it too… =)
